Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how ChannelMen (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit channelmen.com (the “Site”). ChannelMen is operated by ChannelClan B.V., registered in the Netherlands, with its registered office at Newtonlaan 115, Utrecht Businesspark, 3584 BH Utrecht, the Netherlands. What personal data we collect
We collect and process the following categories of personal data, depending on how you interact with the Site:
- Contact form submissions: when you fill in a contact form, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, and the content of your message, so we can respond to your enquiry.
- Newsletter sign-ups: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address (and any other information you provide) and share it with our email marketing provider, Mailchimp, to send you updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
- Comments: if you leave a comment on the Site, we collect the content of the comment plus the data you supply in the comment form, together with your IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam.

- Technical and security data: our hosting and security provider(s) automatically process technical data such as your IP address and browser information to keep the Site secure and functioning correctly.
No advertising, no data sales
ChannelMen does not run advertising on this Site and does not use third-party advertising networks, ad trackers, or “selected third parties” for marketing or advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
Why we process your data (legal basis)
- To respond to enquiries and provide our services: performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into one, or our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- To send newsletters: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam or abuse: our legitimate interest in protecting the Site and its visitors.
- For non-essential cookies: your consent, collected through the cookie banner.
Who we share data with
We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the Site, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes described above. These currently include:
- Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC) – for sending our newsletter.
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd) – to load fonts used on the Site.
- TransIP B.V. – our hosting provider, based in the Netherlands.
- Security and spam-prevention services used to protect the Site (e.g. firewall and comment-spam filtering), which may process IP addresses for that purpose.
We do not share your data with any party for their own advertising or marketing purposes.
International data transfers
Some of the service providers listed above may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), for example in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data remains protected.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy: contact form messages for as long as needed to handle and follow up on your enquiry, newsletter data for as long as you remain subscribed, and comments for as long as the comment remains published.
